Super Stretch Bit Guards

Say goodbye to the frustration of boiling water, heavy pliers, and torn rubber just to get a pair of bit guards onto your bridle. The Centaur® Super Stretch Bit Guards revolutionize a classic piece of equestrian equipment by utilizing a proprietary, highly pliable natural rubber compound. These guards offer extreme elasticity, allowing them to stretch easily over exceptionally large bit rings, full cheeks, or gag actions, before instantly snapping back to their original size and tightly hugging the mouthpiece. Engineered with a traditional flat-disc profile, these standard guards sit neatly between the outer bit rings and the corners of your horse's mouth. By filling the geometric gap found on loose-ring snaffles, they provide a reliable shield against painful skin pinching, maximize bit stability, and prevent the mouthpiece from being pulled horizontally through the mouth when lateral aids are applied. Tough enough to handle daily arena work yet supple enough to prevent friction, they are a fundamental addition to any schoolmaster or young horse's training regimen.
